“My husband and I did a 2 day stay and 2 sail on the Beautiful Reverie. Pearline was absolutely wonderful with her communication and the ease of booking. We did not get to meet her due to her prior obligations but she made sure we were prepared and cared for.

The first day we sailed with Captain Simon. He sailed us to Sandy Cay where we were able to snorkel for a bit before rain started. From there we went to Jost van Dyke, although overcast White Bay was still stunning and we had a Great time hitting all of the favorites, Soggy Dollar, One Love and Ivan’s. Ivan’s was our favorite!

Day 2 we sailed with Captain Sam and he lives up to his Wonderful reputation! Informative, charming and witty! Sam sailed us to The Caves, the snorkeling was Amazing! Then on to Willy T’s after a wonderfully prepared lunch by Simon.

Before heading back to the marina, we were able to snorkel and The Indians – just when I thought the Caves were amazing, The Indians were the BEST! The sail back was relaxing and the views are Gorgeous.

Accommodations on the sail boat were nice and homey. Thank you to Pearline, Captain Simon and Captain Sam! We would do it again in a heartbeat!

“I can’t say enough kind things about Don and Pearline. They are the nicest, warmest people that treated us like friends from the moment we met them. We were introduced to several people at the marina so our stay would be easy.
And they went above and beyond the call of duty several times, including picking us up at the airport (it was Pearline’s day off and she offered to help us out), arranging a birthday cake and providing celebratory cigars. They met us every morning before we departed on our day sail and met us every evening ensuring our sailing trips were the best they could possibly be.
Our boat captain, “Cap’n Sam”, was a true delight. As an ex-Royal Navy seaman, he was not just capable, he was a treasure trove of information. Cap’n Sam provided us with the complete history of the islands and knows every hidden beach, snorkeling spot and beach bar in the BVI. And sailing in the BVI is the best in the world. Between Don, Pearline and Sam, our trip was more than we expected.”

“We really enjoyed our time on Reverie in Soper’s Hole on Tortola. Pearline was very helpful with answering any questions we had and was available if we needed anything. Our group of four had just returned from a sailing charter thru the islands and Reverie was a great way for us to transition back to land while at the same time enjoy a few more days being on the water.

We liked being able to sit in the cockpit watching the activity in the marina in addition to being close to shops and the restaurant for easy meals on the dock. With car rental offices close by, we could explore the Tortola beaches and beautiful setting at an easy pace. The location close to the West End ferry dock made it easy to catch a ferry back to St Thomas and our flight home.

We would recommend Reverie for boaters and non-boaters alike who are looking for a comfortable, interesting and economical ‘home base’ for exploring the BVI’s.”
